Fei Wong Reed confirms that Clow Country is the future of Tokyo, and that the "power sleeping beneath the ruins" is the feather Sakura chose to leave behind. Mokona shouts at Fei Wong that Sakura left the feather behind to help the people of Tokyo, but Fei Wong wants to use it to do evil things. Fei Wong then breaks the feather out from its underground hold and returns it to Sakura. The group find themselves unable to move as Sakura begins to glow. Fei Wong remarks that the most basic law of the dimensions will now collapse - the law that the dead cannot be brought back to life.
